Description

The U.S. National Science Foundation is seeking proposals for collaborative research in computational neuroscience. The foundation will support two classes of proposals: research proposals describing collaborative research projects and data sharing proposals to support sharing of data and other resources. Domestic and international projects will be considered, including proposals seeking parallel international funding. The foundation will coordinate and manage the review of proposals jointly with participating domestic and foreign funding organizations. Key aspects of the proposal include: • The proposal should describe a collaborative research project or a data sharing proposal. • The proposal should be submitted by a U.S.-based organization, including for-profit and non-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, and U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratories. • The proposal should be submitted electronically through the NSF website. • The proposal should include a detailed budget and a description of the proposed research or data sharing activity.
