Notice of Intent to Sole Source LabScape Maintenance Service Agreement

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Bruker Scientific, LLC for LabScape Complete Maintenance Service Agreement. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The services include planned maintenance and emergency repair of the LabScape Complete MALDI Biotyper, which can only be provided by the original manufacturer. • The contractor will provide in-person visits and remote technical services. • The contractor will use proprietary reagents and genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for instrument maintenance and repairs. • The contractor will help troubleshoot technical issues with specimen runs. • The contractor will provide expert maintenance and repair services, as they train and retain in-house staff.
