Emergency Waterline Repairs

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract for emergency waterline repairs at the GLS Administration Building. The contract will consist of repairs on an underground waterline that is experiencing a leak and causing flooding within the building. The goal is to resolve the flooding to prevent further damage to the building and mitigate health, safety, and operational risks. • The contract is a hybrid Firm Fixed-Price / Time and Materials contract. • The anticipated cost is $50,000.00. • The contract is being awarded under authority 10 USC 3204 (a)(2) due to unusual and compelling urgency. • The contractor will be LaVacks Custom Builders, Inc.
