On-Call Security Services

The City of Avondale is seeking a licensed and qualified contractor to provide on-call, unarmed security services for the Municipal Operations Service Center (MOSC) when the front access gate is inoperable. The contractor shall provide all material and labor required to secure the MOSC front gate on an as-needed basis. The services will include provision and management of qualified, unarmed security personnel, same-day response upon request, continuous security coverage, access observation, and deterrence presence. The contractor must be licensed to provide security services in Arizona, have experience providing on-call or facility security services, and maintain insurance meeting City requirements. • The contract term is one year with four renewable one-year options. • The contractor must respond to requests for service on an on-call basis and confirm availability within one hour. • The contractor must ensure security personnel document and report security activities, including incident reports and daily activity logs. • The contractor must provide services in accordance with a safety plan compliant with OSHA, ANSI, and NIOSH standards. • The City reserves the right to request a safety plan if the contractor determines one is unnecessary.
