Description
Forsyth Technical Community College is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide landscaping services for designated non-main campus locations. The selected vendor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the landscaping services in accordance with the specifications, terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this solicitation. Services shall be provided at the campus locations identified herein and throughout the term of the resulting contract. Key tasks include routine grounds maintenance, landscape maintenance, turf health management, site-specific grounds services, and seasonal and supplemental services.
• Routine grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, edging, litter removal, and related activities
• Landscape maintenance: pruning, removal of dead or damaged vegetation, weed control, mulch and pine straw installation
• Turf health management: soil testing, fertilization, herbicide and pesticide applications, aeration and overseeding
• Site-specific grounds services: fence-line clearing, bush hogging operations, retention pond maintenance
• Seasonal and supplemental services: snow and ice abatement, supplemental litter removal, watering and drought mitigation
