Description
The City of Columbus, Department of Technology is seeking bids for Audio Description Integration and Support Services. The contract aims to ensure City media content complies with WCAG 2.2AA and ADA Title II standards. The provider will coordinate with City Council and Media Services staff to obtain agendas and communications prior to broadcasts. The contract term is one year with the option for two additional one-year renewals. The City will pay firm or fixed prices, FOB Destination, Freight Prepaid, and Allowed.
• The provider must complete a test signal 30 minutes prior to an event and a final check 10 minutes prior to start.
• The City covers telephone charges for signals sent to the provider, while the provider is responsible for the return line and service to the Media Services control room.
• The provider must provide on-demand description services for past video files upon public records request.
• The contract includes an escrow clause and a right of cancellation if the supplier's total request for a price increase exceeds 15%.
• The City may terminate the contract with seven days' written notice if it is in the best interest of the City.
