Lee Street Substation Steel Structures

The Greenville Electric Utility System (GEUS) is seeking proposals for the design, fabrication, and furnishing of structural steel components associated with the Lee Street Substation Project. The successful proposer will be responsible for providing complete design and fabrication services, delivering all materials to the designated location, and ensuring that all materials are clearly identified, packaged, and delivered in accordance with the project schedule. The proposer must also provide submittals to GEUS for all shop drawings, a Gantt chart, and monthly reports on progress, issues, and delays. • The project includes the fabrication and delivery of various steel structures, including A-Frame Deadend Structure, 3-Phase Bus Support Stand, 3-Phase Air Switch Stand, and others. • The proposer must have adequate product resources, be able to comply with the required delivery schedule, have a satisfactory record of performance, and be otherwise qualified and eligible to receive an award. • The proposer must also provide a Bid Bond, certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable bid security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. • The contract resulting from this RFP shall become effective upon execution by both parties and shall remain in effect until final completion and acceptance of the Project by GEUS.
