USAFA Sky Monitor System

The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is conducting market research to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for a Sky Monitor System. The system should have a fisheye field of view of at least 180 degrees, a cooled CCD, variable exposures, automatic dome defrost, weather-proof housing, an integrated filter wheel, remote operation, a 16-bit sensor dynamic range, and more than 30 mega pixels of resolution. Interested parties should submit a brief description of their company's business size, business status, and technical capability to meet the requirement. They should also include their UEI, Cage Code, System for Award Management expiration date, and an authorized reseller letter from the manufacturer if applicable. • The Sky Monitor System should have a fisheye field of view of at least 180 degrees. • The system should have a cooled CCD. • The system should have variable exposures. • The system should have automatic dome defrost. • The system should have weather-proof housing. • The system should have an integrated filter wheel. • The system should have remote operation. • The system should have a 16-bit sensor dynamic range. • The system should have more than 30 mega pixels of resolution.
