TECAN Parts and Services

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-year, sole-source contract to TECAN U.S., Inc. for the purchase of brand name only TECAN parts. The required TECAN parts include Nest for Fluent Deck Segment, Microplate/DiTi, 7 mm, Container, System Liquid, 30 L, Fluent, Spare, and Cart, 30 L System or Waste Liquid Container, Fluent. The contract is for the Laboratory Division (LD), Biometrics Analysis Section (BAS), Federal DNA Database Unit (FDDU) to utilize Tecan Robotic Workstations throughout the DNA analytical process. • The contract is for a one-year period. • The contract is for the purchase of TECAN parts, including Nest for Fluent Deck Segment, Microplate/DiTi, 7 mm, Container, System Liquid, 30 L, Fluent, Spare, and Cart, 30 L System or Waste Liquid Container, Fluent. • The contract is intended to support the FBI's DNA analytical process. • The FBI has determined that TECAN is the only vendor that can perform preventative maintenance, repair, and upgrade services on the TECAN Robotic Workstation.
