Biosolids Hauling & Disposal Services

The Valley Sanitary District (VSD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide biosolids hauling and disposal services. The contractor will be responsible for transporting dewatered biosolids from the VSD's wastewater treatment facility to an approved composting or processing facility. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, equipment, vehicles, fuel, permits, and incidentals to transport and deliver the biosolids. The contract will be for a 36-month period, with the option for the VSD to cancel with 60 days' notice. The contractor will be required to provide a list of telephone numbers and names of responsible parties to be called on a 24-hour, 7-day basis in the event of an emergency or unusual operating conditions.
