The County of Imperial is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing 10‑ton OSA air‑conditioner at its Public Health Laboratory with a new, code‑compliant 15‑ton unit, including full demolition, structural reinforcement, electrical upgrades, and system start‑up and commissioning. The scope covers removal of the old equipment, installation of a new rooftop HVAC package, new conduit and power feeds, structural steel platform, and all required permits, inspections, and documentation. • Demolition of existing HVAC unit and associated ductwork, electrical components, and roof penetrations. • Supply, install, and commission a new 15‑ton OSA rooftop unit with associated mechanical, electrical, and structural work (including a 3,100 lb platform). • Provide all required permits, testing, balancing, and certification; comply with Title 24, CBC, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
