Security Services

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a vendor to provide unarmed uniformed security services. The vendor will be responsible for providing security personnel, equipment, and vehicles to ensure the safety and security of NCDOT facilities and personnel. The contract will have an initial term of three years, with the option to extend. The vendor will be required to provide security services at various locations throughout the state, including the Rocky Mount DMV Headquarters, Century Center Complex, and Transportation Building. The vendor will also be required to provide security personnel for the Security Operations Center and other designated locations. • The vendor will be responsible for providing security personnel who are trained and certified to perform their duties. • The vendor will be required to provide equipment and vehicles necessary to perform the security services. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all security personnel are in compliance with NCDOT Physical Security policies and procedures. • The vendor will be required to provide monthly reports and attend regular meetings with NCDOT Security Management. • The vendor will be responsible for providing transition assistance to the state if the contract is not renewed or is canceled.
