WATER SYSTEM FAULTY PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLER REPLACEMENT

The U.S. Embassy in Bujumbura, Burundi, is seeking a vendor to replace the faulty Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) of its Domestic Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) and integrate BACnet communication to enable connectivity with the Building Automation System (BAS). The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying, installing, programming, integrating, testing, and commissioning the new PLC and associated equipment. The vendor must provide a detailed and itemized price quotation, including staff services, materials and equipment, and installation and commissioning costs. The quotation must comply with the requirements specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). • The existing PLC is an Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1200, which has experienced a fatal internal failure and must be replaced. • The new PLC must be integrated with the BAS system, which requires BACnet communication. • The vendor must provide a detailed and itemized price quotation, including staff services, materials and equipment, and installation and commissioning costs. • The vendor must comply with the requirements specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). • A pre-bid site visit is recommended, and interested vendors must comply with the instructions for accessing the U.S. Embassy during the site visit.
