RFP Community Solar Subscription Services

The City of Syracuse is seeking proposals from New York State licensed and regulated Community Solar providers to supply a portion of the City’s energy needs with discounted energy by becoming a customer for various solar farms in the region. The City has selected 76 electrical accounts that annually use over 10,000 kwh, and the selected contractor will be required to provide a guaranteed subscription discount of at least 10-20%. The contractor will also be responsible for managing and tracking data on leads, working with the City's third-party energy manager, and providing regular reporting. • The City is seeking to allocate all kwhs of use towards discounted energy sources. • The contractor will be required to provide a draft contract, execute the contract, and answer questions from the City in a timely fashion. • The contract is expected to have a rate discount fixed for a certain period. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract within 30 days written notice.
