The NC State University is seeking a Construction Manager-at-Risk for the Utility Plant Building Expansion - Cates Chiller Plant project. The project aims to expand the Cates Utility Plant to support short- and long-term university growth and ensure utility redundancy as the North and Central Campus Precincts grow. The project will be completed in two phases, with Phase I addressing the building expansion and installing a heat recovery chiller plant, and Phase II preparing for the next large centrifugal chiller installation. • The project budget is $32,500,000. • The submission deadline is July 31, 2026. • A pre-proposal meeting will be held on July 14, 2026, at 3:00 pm. • Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
