The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking information from small businesses to determine their capability to perform a contract for the continuation of the Cleanup Workers Clinical Cohort, which aims to study the health effects of Chernobyl cleanup workers in Ukraine. The contract involves updating demographic, clinical, and epidemiologic data through a mail survey and passive follow-up through linkage to the National Cancer Registry of Ukraine and the State Chernobyl Registry. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary services, personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the statement of work. The period of performance is estimated to be from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with a base period of 12 months and 4 option periods of 12 months. Some key aspects of the contract include: • Updating vital status and last known address through a mail survey for at least 2,000 subjects annually • Conducting linkage of subject information to the National Cancer Registry of Ukraine and the State Chernobyl Registry • Delivering accurate, complete, and up-to-date electronic databases, including cancer registry variables • Implementing quality control procedures and providing written manuals • Maintaining electronic datasets with updated demographic information and providing support to NIH investigators
