Description
The State of Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Missouri Career Center in Hannibal, Missouri. The services include daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual tasks such as trash removal, floor cleaning, and restroom sanitizing. The vendor must have at least two years of experience providing janitorial services for office buildings with a minimum of 7,432 square feet. The contract period is for one year, and the state agency may add or delete buildings or areas during the term of the contract.
Key tasks and requirements include:
* Providing evening janitorial services five days a week
* Performing daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual tasks as specified in the Cleaning Checklist
* Furnishing all equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to perform the services
* Having a contractor contact person who resides within 45 miles of the building
* Providing a sufficient number of floor safety signs and barriers to alert building tenants of slip/trip/fall hazards
* Using environmentally preferable products whenever possible
* Maintaining a file of Safety Data Sheets for each supply/chemical used in the building
