Description
The Citadel is seeking a fixed‑price, term‑contract to supply a broad list of lock and hardware items—including Medeco high‑security cylinders, Schlage, Norton, Russell, and other branded components—for campus facilities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest‑responsive, responsible bidder (must be an authorized Medoco distributor for Lot 1) and will run an initial one‑year period with up to four one‑year renewal options, for a maximum of five years. All items are to be delivered new, sub‑assembled, and without any on‑site installation or keying services; the institution will handle installation. Vendors must be a single legal entity with a South Carolina vendor number and provide both a sealed paper copy and an electronic copy on a thumb‑drive.
• Scope covers cylinders, key blanks, padlocks, deadbolts, latch assemblies, housings, tailpieces, springs, covers, and assorted hardware accessories.
• Mandatory requirements: authorized Medeco distributor status (Lot 1), South Carolina vendor registration, proof of insurance, and compliance with state procurement regulations.
