Primary Care Physician Services for IVH

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking bids from qualified providers to offer primary care physician services to the Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown, Iowa. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering medical care to IVH residents, including performing initial history and physical visits, providing daily sick rounds, and responding to medical emergencies. The contract term will begin on November 24, 2025, and end on November 23, 2026, with the option for up to five annual extensions. Key responsibilities include: • Providing primary care services to IVH residents • Performing initial history and physical visits for new residents • Providing daily sick rounds for residents with specific complaints or significant changes in health status • Responding to medical emergencies and managing routine, non-emergency problems • Completing written or dictated progress notes for each resident visit • Consulting with the IVH Medical Director as needed • Attending morning huddles, monthly meetings, and work groups to provide input and feedback for Quality Assurance
