Digital Inter-Communications System

The Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) is seeking potential vendors to provide non-recurring engineering services for communications plan adjustments, Voice Audio Warnings (VAWS) changes, Central Aural Warning System (CAWS) changes, and pre-planned product improvements, as well as addressing hardware obsolescence issues for the Digital Inter-Communications System (DICS) installed on all Army Special Operations Aircraft (A/MH-6, MH-60, MH-47). The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources and determine if the planned acquisition strategy is valid or if a full and open competition is necessary. • The requirement includes non-recurring engineering services for DICS installed on Army Special Operations Aircraft. • The Government currently has Telephonics Corp produced DICS in the aircraft. • The Agency has tentatively assigned NAICS Code 334511 to the requirement. • Responses should include a statement of interest, sources profile, and specific capabilities and experience.
