Description
The State of Missouri, through the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and support services for its existing Transportation Management System (TMS). The TMS is a complex system that comprises several business systems and applications, including the MoDOT Management System. The contractor will be responsible for providing problem diagnosis, software problem resolution and repair, maintenance, and other technical support services. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option for MoDOT to secure identical and/or similar services from other sources at any time. The contractor must have a minimum of two years of experience providing maintenance and support services and computer programming for transportation-related applications. The contractor's team must include a leadership team and support staff with relevant experience and skills.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing maintenance and support services for the TMS, including problem diagnosis, software problem resolution and repair, and other technical support services
• Developing and maintaining a current software development lifecycle for the TMS
• Providing on-call support services 24/7
• Managing and prioritizing maintenance and support services via a MoDOT-supported tracking system
• Producing and maintaining detailed technical records for all maintenance services performed
• Ensuring compliance with MoDOT's background check process and other requirements
