Redundant Network Circuits

Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) is seeking qualified contractors to provide four redundant, carrier‑diverse fiber‑optic internet circuits – two at its Riverside headquarters and two at its Hemet facility. The work includes full turn‑key design, installation, configuration of 1 Gbps symmetric circuits with a 10 GbE hand‑off, allocation of a /27 public static IP subnet per circuit, and ongoing 24 × 7 × 365 technical support, monitoring, and a customer portal. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, 60‑month service agreement, with a mandatory 120‑day period to have all circuits operational after the Notice to Proceed. RTA requires compliance with California prevailing‑wage rules, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and a 2.5 % DBE participation goal.
