Description
The Victor Valley Transit Authority seeks a qualified contractor to remove existing exterior logo decals and install new branded decals on its fleet of 45 paratransit E‑450 cutaway vehicles. Work must be performed at VVTA facilities in Hesperia and Barstow during night‑time hours (7 p.m.–5 a.m.) to avoid disrupting service, and must meet strict quality, safety, and warranty requirements.
• Remove all existing side, rear, and front “Direct Access” decals from each vehicle, clean and prepare surfaces, and repair any damage caused by the contractor.
• Supply and install new reflective decals using 3M Scotchlite 680CR (or equivalent) meeting a 7‑year outdoor durability standard, ensuring proper alignment, bubble‑free application, and compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Provide a minimum one‑year workmanship warranty, submit all required submittals (schedule, product data sheets, installation methodology), and maintain required insurance (CGL $2 M, Auto $2 M, Workers’ Comp, Employer’s Liability $1 M) and a bid bond of at least 10 % of the total bid.
