Ruby on Rails Development Service Contract for UREAD Portal

The University of Utah is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Ruby on Rails development services for the UREAD Portal, a secure internal portal and database used to transfer imaging and other diagnostic data from clinical sites to UREAD. The scope of work includes maintenance of the existing portal, further development of the application, and implementation of additional features. The vendor will be required to provide regular progress reports, Ruby on Rails application development, database design and optimization, API development and integration, frontend development, testing implementation, code reviews, and bug fixes. The contract term will be for a period of 6 months, with an option to renew for one additional period of two years at the University's discretion. • The vendor must demonstrate ability to meet the scope of work, including 24/7 on-call services. • The vendor must demonstrate technical capability, including experience with Ruby on Rails development and project management. • The vendor must provide customer recommendations on 'Ruby on Rails' work. • The vendor must demonstrate sensitive data security and handling protocols. • The vendor must provide a fixed fee cost proposal.
