Description
The Department of the Army is seeking a Catholic Priest to provide religious, spiritual, and pastoral care to Catholic staff, patients, and family members at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC). The contractor will support Catholic pastoral care, ward visits, worship services, and Catholic Sacraments for Catholic staff, patients, and family members during normal duty hours and weekends, as well as on-call services for WBAMC. The contract has a base period and four option years, with a total period of performance of 48 months. The contractor will be required to provide a quality control plan, proposed backup plan, and other deliverables as specified in the contract.
Some key requirements for this role include:
* Providing Catholic pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, staff, and family members
* Performing sacraments and rituals as needed
* Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and providing input on patient care
* Maintaining accurate records and reports as required
* Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies

They will be able to work effectively with patients, staff, and family members from diverse backgrounds and provide compassionate and supportive care.
