Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) inspections and minor‑repair services at every DHR county office in the state. The work must be completed between July 1 and September 30 2026, and includes filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, belt and motor inspections, and water‑treatment for water‑based systems. All work is limited to preventive maintenance and minor repairs; any major repairs require written approval and must be finished within the contract window. Vendors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and Master Gasfitter licenses, and provide EPA 608‑certified technicians. Documentation (inspection forms, certificates, photos, and water‑treatment reports) is required for each site.
• One comprehensive PM visit per DHR location (including all HVAC units, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, etc.) within 07/01‑09/30 2026.
• Mandatory water‑treatment testing for 11 water‑based HVAC sites; reports must precede invoice payment.
• All identified repairs must be quoted in writing, receive PO approval, and be completed by 09/30 2026.
• Supplier assumes liability for any damage caused during service and must provide proof of required state licenses and EPA certifications.
