The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking qualifications for the modernization of three elevators: Ansari Business Building Elevators #1 and #2, Leifson Physics Elevator, and Scrugham Engineering and Mines Elevator. The scope of work includes the modernization of these elevators, with the goal of improving their functionality and safety. The project is expected to be completed by a qualified contractor who can provide the necessary expertise and resources. The key responsibilities of the contractor will include the removal of existing elevator equipment, installation of new equipment, and testing and commissioning of the modernized elevators. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the project schedule and budget. • The contractor will be required to provide regular progress updates and reports to the UNR project manager. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide a warranty for the work completed. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely and with minimal disruption to the university's operations.
