Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Sterility Testing Service LIMS Project

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is issuing a notice of intent to sole source a contract for additional professional services days to support the configuration and rollout of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project. The project aims to supplement the existing cGMP compliant Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) LIMS, which has already been purchased and is currently under configuration. The sole source contractor will be LabVantage, the approved vendor for this project. The scope of work includes providing additional professional services days to support the configuration and rollout of the Portal and to supplement the time already included under the original Statement of Work (SOW). • The project involves a cGMP compliant Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) • The sole source contractor will be LabVantage • The project aims to support the configuration and rollout of the Portal • The project will supplement the time already included under the original SOW • The project will ensure that all required functionality is available and will allow the STS to realize many process improvements/efficiencies and close the compliance gaps identified in the original procurement.
