The California Department of Justice (DOJ) is soliciting bids from firms that can provide Helicopter Services for the DOJ, Bureau of Investigations (BI), Eradication and Prevention of Illicit Cannabis (EPIC) Program - Central Region. The helicopter shall be Type 3, high skid, four (4) bladed, six (6) passenger, turbine-powered helicopter with pilot, fuel, and maintenance support. The scope of work includes providing helicopter services for reconnaissance missions and operations in the Central California area. The contractor must have at least three (3) type 3 helicopters, each with four blades, and matching the same make, model, and performance specifications as those specified in the IFB. The contract term is expected to be for two (2) years, with the option to extend the term at the discretion of the DOJ/BI/EPIC. Some key requirements include: * The contractor must be licensed to do business in California and have all necessary permits and licenses. * The contractor must have a minimum of three (3) type 3 helicopters, each with four blades, and matching the same make, model, and performance specifications as those specified in the IFB. * The contractor must provide pilots, fuel service truck drivers, and other company personnel with adequate commercial lodging and meals while working under the terms of the agreement. * The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to aviation and environmental protection.
