Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide unarmed security guard services at two Caltrans facilities in Redding, CA. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, uniforms, and related incidentals, and must staff the sites with certified security personnel covering 24‑hour shifts at the district office and specific daytime/rover patrol shifts at the West Venture office. No subcontracting is permitted, and all guards must hold California DCA licensing and meet training, background, and uniform standards. Bids are due Oct 13 2026, with award expected Oct 27 2026, for a three‑year contract (Dec 2026 – Dec 2029).
• Provide 3 guards 24‑hr coverage at 1657 Riverside Drive (Mon‑Fri, excl. holidays) and 2 guards with defined day/rover patrols at 1031 Butte Street.
