Support Government of Kenya in accelerated transition of oversight and implementation of comprehensive HIV prevention and treatment programs for sustained epidemic control in the Republic of Kenya under PEPFAR

The Centers for Disease Control-GHC is seeking to support the Government of Kenya in accelerating the transition of oversight and implementation of comprehensive HIV prevention and treatment programs to national and sub-national health systems. The project aims to strengthen local capacity and sustainability of HIV services while maintaining progress toward epidemic control. Key activities will focus on delivery of HIV prevention and treatment services, technical support, health systems strengthening, quality improvement, and capacity building to ensure the delivery of client-centered, evidence-based HIV services. Some key aspects of the project include: • Delivery of HIV prevention and treatment services • Technical support and health systems strengthening • Quality improvement and capacity building • Community engagement and integration of services • Support for long-term sustainability and self-reliance by enhancing local leadership, governance, and financing in line with Kenya’s national HIV strategic priorities.
