Description
The County of Cameron is seeking up to three qualified landscaping contractors to provide a term (annual) contract for mowing, trimming, edging, leaf‑removal, trash removal and basic weed control across 18 county‑owned building sites. Service frequency varies by site (weekly at two high‑traffic locations, bi‑monthly at the remaining sites). Contractors must meet strict safety, equipment, insurance, warranty, and quality‑control requirements, and will be evaluated based on net unit cost.
• Scope: Mow grass to 2‑3 in., trim within 10 ft of structures, edge curbs, remove leaves, debris, trash, and control weeds.
• Frequency: 4 visits/month at two sites; 2 visits/month at sixteen sites (≈ 40 visits/month total).
• Requirements: Workers’ comp, $500K each CGL & Auto liability, 36‑month warranty, safety gear, traffic‑control plan, equipment list, 48‑hour deficiency correction.
• Contract: 1‑year primary term, with up to two one‑year extensions; award based on lowest net unit cost.
