LGA Powerhouse Controls Room Upgrade & Annunciation

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to upgrade the Little Goose Powerhouse Controls Room and Annunciation systems. The project involves providing electrical equipment/components and wiring to support the operation, monitoring, and control of the powerhouse. The contractor will be responsible for upgrading various systems, including the annunciation and SER systems, station service, digital SCC, and S-boards. The contractor will also be required to establish and manage an effective on-site Safety and Health program and a Contractor Quality Control System. • The project requires the installation of new electrical equipment/components and associated conductors. • The contractor must provide HMIs for control interfaces. • The project involves the refurbishment of S-boards, including the demo of existing wiring, meters, indicators, and equipment, and the installation of new panels, wiring, and equipment. • The contractor must address the need for an elevated floor within the Control Room to allow for new wiring installation under the elevated floor and new consoles. • The contractor must demo the existing Control Room ceiling tiles, light fixtures, and ceiling HVAC diffusers and provide new ones.
