ITB 2026-010 ATCT Replacement Generator

The City of Naples Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the ATCT Replacement Generator project at the Naples Airport. The project involves replacing the existing emergency generator serving the Naples Airport Air Traffic Control Tower with a new diesel generator system designed to meet current reliability and flood protection requirements. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing generator, installation of an Owner-furnished prefabricated elevated support platform, installation of the new generator with sub-base fuel tank, and completion of all associated electrical, structural, and site work. The project also includes installation and integration of new electrical connections, an uninterrupted power supply (UPS), generator annunciator panel, portable generator docking station, and associated monitoring and controls, along with minor landscape restoration. • The Owner will directly purchase the generator, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), prefabricated platform, and transfer switches, and the Contractor shall coordinate delivery, storage, installation, commissioning, and warranty administration of all Owner-furnished equipment. • The Contractor must hold one of the following active State of Florida licenses: Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) or Certified General Contractor (CGC). • The Contractor shall ensure that generator startup and commissioning are performed by a manufacturer-authorized (Cummins-certified) technician.
