Description
The City of Fresno Department of Transportation/FAX is seeking an Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firm to modernize one Otis hydraulic passenger elevator and one Otis hydraulic freight elevator. The A&E firm will be responsible for inspecting existing conditions, providing engineering drawings and specifications, and serving during the construction phase to review and ensure quality assurance. The project objectives include inspecting and examining existing conditions, providing architectural and engineering services, securing necessary permits, and providing oversight of elevator commissioning and project closeout.
• The A&E firm will be responsible for design milestones at 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%.
• The A&E firm will develop a project schedule and provide inspection services to ensure quality standards are met.
• The A&E firm will take part in construction administration to ensure the project is successfully completed.
• The A&E firm will provide records management services, including reviewing revisions and changes, and preparing final record documents.
