Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research (Sources‑Sought) for firms that can provide Surgical Operational Efficiency Specialists (SOES) to support minimally invasive surgery (MIS) at the Houston VA Medical Center (VAMC). The SOES will handle equipment coordination, inventory management, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and calibration of OR and clinic devices, but will not have any direct patient contact or sterile processing duties. Responses are limited to three pages and must include a statement of interest, small‑business classification, capability statement, and firm identification (SAM UEI, CAGE, contact). The solicitation is an RFI; no contract is yet guaranteed, though the VA anticipates a one‑time Firm‑Fixed‑Price award.
