Description
Alvin Community College is seeking statements of qualifications from professional service firms to provide services for the Maintenance Tax Note Projects, which include the upgrade and possible remodel of four buildings on the College campus. The College is looking for professionals from various construction-related disciplines. The selected firms will be included in a 5-year pool, and projects will be assigned to firms within the pool on a project-by-project basis. The evaluation criteria include previous experience with similar projects, previous experience with community colleges, experience of key project personnel, and references.
• The College has already retained a lead architect and engineering subconsultants for these projects.
• The College is seeking statements of qualifications for various categories of service, including indoor air quality consulting, professional land surveyors, traffic engineering services, and more.
• The College reserves the right to waive any irregularities and informalities and make any decision that they judge is in the best interest of the College.
• The College reserves the right to cancel this RFQ and is in no way obligated to proceed with any project or to enter into a contract with any firm.
