This Invitation for Bid seeks a qualified contractor to provide full‑service cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of CAL FIRE personal protective equipment (PPE) – primarily turnout gear such as coats, pants, and related items – at the Ione Training Center. The contractor must adhere to Cal/OSHA‑adapted NFPA 1851 standards, supply all labor, tools, consumables, transportation, and ensure timely turnaround (7 business days for routine work, 24 hours for emergencies). The contract is a three‑year, fixed‑price agreement with performance incentives for small‑business and DVBE participation.
• Scope: inspection, cleaning, repair (stitching, zippers, hardware, patches), alterations, data entry, and logistics (pick‑up/drop‑off) for PPE.
