Supplemental Maintenance and Support Services for Port Police Technology Systems

The Harbor Department of the City of Los Angeles is seeking a consultant to provide supplemental maintenance and support services for the Port Police technology systems. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing staff for 24x7 support, monitoring, and maintenance services, including repairs, upgrades, equipment refresh, installation, moves, adds, and changes to existing Port Police technology systems. The consultant will also provide as-needed supporting personnel, ad hoc professional services, parts, and equipment. The scope of work includes tasks such as system administration, user management, troubleshooting, and liaison with third-party support. The consultant will be required to conduct quarterly system functionality audits and validations and report on the level of acceptable operational system performance. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing 24x7 support and maintenance services for Port Police technology systems • Managing user logins and passwords, system access permissions, and initial user support • Liaising with third-party support for troubleshooting reported issues • Conducting quarterly system functionality audits and validations • Providing as-needed supporting personnel, ad hoc professional services, parts, and equipment • Managing the mobile data network and providing user access and management • Troubleshooting reported issues and providing support for systems and networks during upgrades and updates
