On-Call Electrical System Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Services

The City of Winchester is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair services. The work will consist of both emergency and scheduled work, and the contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required electrical/building permits and ensuring that all work receives the necessary inspections. The contractor will also be responsible for providing a competent event coordinator and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC). Some of the specific services that may be required include planning and layout of electrical apparatus and controls, wiring, installing receptacles, lighting upgrades, and electrical repairs. The contractor will be required to respond to emergency situations and provide equipment and personnel to begin work. The City intends to make multiple awards as a result of this procurement, and the contract term will be for five years with the option to renew for two 24-month periods. • The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing similar services. • The contractor must provide documentation of their experience and qualifications. • The contractor must have the necessary licenses and permits to perform the work. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the work. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner. • The contractor must be able to provide a competent event coordinator. • The contractor must be able to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the NEC.
