Attenuator Trucks

The State of Idaho is seeking a vendor to supply fully‑configured “Attenuator Trucks,” which are medium‑duty, single‑axle trucks equipped with a truck‑mounted attenuator, warning / work lights, solar‑powered battery systems, optional message or arrow boards, cameras, and complete documentation and warranties. The contractor must deliver the trucks FOB destination to Boise, ID, within 225 calendar days of order receipt, provide a 2‑year warranty (5‑year for lighting), and meet detailed technical specifications including MASH TL‑3 attenuator compliance, specific chassis and powertrain options, and integrated electrical systems. The contract is initially for one year with the possibility of renewal up to a total of five years, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • Provide complete truck assemblies (chassis, powertrain, flatbed, attenuator, lighting, solar, optional message/arrow boards, cameras). • Meet strict technical specs: MASH TL‑3 attenuator, ≤ 102 in overall width, 225‑day delivery per truck, 2‑year/5‑year warranties, and compliance with FMVSS, DOT, OSHA, MUTCD etc. • Deliver, install, and support the trucks with pre‑build meetings, pilot inspection of the first unit, and ongoing warranty service.
