Digital Wayfinding Signage (Lease or Direct Purchase)

The City of Norfolk is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of digital wayfinding signage displays. The system will be part of the comprehensive St. Paul Transformation-Critical Community Improvement projects and will include five kiosks installed along Freemason Street. The kiosks will provide residents and visitors with contextualized information, including wayfinding information, public transportation options, and public art displays. The contractor will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the system, including providing a maintenance plan and ensuring that the equipment remains up to date and modernized. • The system shall be designed and fabricated by June 30, 2026. • The contractor shall provide a 5-year maintenance plan, including on-site service and additional training for City staff. • The contractor shall ensure that the kiosks are accessible to individuals with disabilities and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and other relevant legal requirements. • The contractor shall provide reports to the City, including quarterly and annual usage statistics reports.
