Conceptual Design Development for Surface Mining Permit Reclamation

Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking a consultant to provide professional services for the conceptual design development of surface mining permit reclamation. The consultant will work with a gravel quarry consultant team to complete a design that enables Zone 7 to achieve its water management goals and ensure viable future operations and maintenance. The scope of work includes project management, analysis of hydrologic and flow data, development of design concepts and criteria, review and comment on proposed designs, and evaluation of regulatory and permitting needs. • The consultant will represent Zone 7 in working with the gravel quarry consultant team. • The consultant will advise, oversee, and guide the development of associated technical documents. • The consultant will review hydrologic and flow data to define design criteria and specifications. • The consultant will develop design concepts and criteria for the combined lakes, pipeline, and other water control structures. • The consultant will evaluate regulatory and permitting needs for the project.
