Maintenance and Operations Facility, Owner’s Representative, Project 2891

The City of Rapid City is seeking a professional services consultant to provide Owner’s Representative services for the design and construction of a new Maintenance and Operations Facility. The selected consultant will assist the City in managing and reviewing work products from the Design-Build-Finance team, and provide expertise in current facility design components, standards, equipment selection, construction materials, and other related areas. The scope of work includes five tasks: Schematic Design Services, Design Development Services, Construction Documents Services, Construction Process Services, and General Project Assistance. The consultant will work closely with City staff, including the Project Manager, to ensure the successful completion of the project. Key considerations include the consultant's experience with similar projects, familiarity with the City's design criteria and standards, and ability to provide high-quality services within the proposed budget and schedule. • The City is looking for a consultant with experience in municipal maintenance and operations facilities. • The consultant will be responsible for reviewing and approving design and construction documents. • The consultant will work closely with City staff to ensure the successful completion of the project. • The project includes the design and construction of a new Maintenance and Operations Facility. • The facility will house various City departments, including Maintenance, Streets, and Utility Maintenance. • The consultant will be required to provide monthly progress reports to the City Project Manager. • The consultant will be responsible for coordinating and documenting communications among City departments, the design team, construction team, and other stakeholders.
