Description
The City of Canton is seeking a qualified Information Technology Service Provider to provide Managed IT Services. The selected firm will be responsible for providing comprehensive managed IT services, including end-user on-site support, network and systems monitoring and management, cybersecurity, cloud administration, and more. The contract is expected to start in October 2026 and last for 12 months. Key services include:
• End-User On-Site Support: full on-site and remote technical support for City staff
• Network & Systems Monitoring and Management: comprehensive 24x7x365 proactive monitoring, alerting, patching, and maintenance of the City’s IT environment
• Cybersecurity: managed detection and response endpoint protection, 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, and firewall advanced threat protection
• Cloud Administration: administration of the City’s cloud platforms, including Azure and Veeam support
• Emergency After-Hours and Holiday Support: emergency support for incidents classified as Critical outside of normal business hours
