HEATED SALT BATH FURNACE MAITENANCE AND REPAIR

The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) is seeking a contractor to perform maintenance and repair of a heated salt bath furnace. The work includes pumping out molten salts, replacing electrodes and auxiliary heaters, and inspecting the tank. The contractor must provide the necessary skills, labor, material, equipment, and supervision to complete the work. The place of performance is at FRCSE, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. • The contractor must pump out molten salts at around 870 degrees Fahrenheit and replace salt bath electrodes and auxiliary heaters. • The contractor must inspect the tank and perform non-destructive testing to assess the tank's condition. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental protection.
