VACCHCS Switchboard Operators

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide switchboard operator services for the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS). The contractor will be responsible for answering and processing all incoming calls, operating telephone instruments, and performing other related tasks. The contract will be for a base year with four option years, and the contractor must be able to provide 11 telephone operators. The evaluation criteria for this contract include technical capability, past performance, and price. • The contractor must be able to provide the required number of operators and have a staffing plan in place. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and be able to demonstrate their ability to operate telephone instruments and other equipment. • The contractor must be able to provide a comprehensive plan for continuity of telephone services during contractor employee outages. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to information security and privacy.
