Description
The solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive moving services for Cavalry Family Housing residents at Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos), Texas. The contractor must supply all packing materials, labor, transportation, disassembly/reassembly of furniture, appliance handling, and valuation of household goods. Work will be performed on two Army‑owned housing sites in Coryell and Bell counties under a three‑year performance period (Aug 3 2026 – Aug 31 2029). The award will be made to the “best value” responsible bidder after a full pre‑award qualification review.
• Provide end‑to‑end residential relocation, including packing, loading, transport, unpacking, and re‑assembly.
• Supply all necessary packing supplies, labor, trucks, and insurance documentation (W‑9, qualification forms, COI, etc.).
• Comply with Army and Federal safety, insurance, and reporting requirements (e.g., OSHA 300 logs, insurance certificates, real‑ID verification).
