RFQ: Worker's Compensation Counsel Services (Re-bid)

The City of Newark is seeking a qualified law firm or attorney to provide Worker's Compensation Counsel Services on an as-needed basis. The selected firm or attorney will provide representation in all aspects of litigation, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, and participation in settlement conferences, pre-trial motions, and trials. The firm or attorney will also be required to provide quarterly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics. The contract term will be for one year, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with a blended hourly rate of $175.00 for barred attorneys and $75.00 for non-barred attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks.
