Description
The City of Trenton is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of hydrant parts for metropolitan M-94, M-250, and A.P. Smith series S ductile iron fire hydrants. The contract will be for a period of one year. Bidders must submit their bids in writing, and the bid package must include all required documents and forms. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Some key requirements for bidders include:
• Compliance with the requirements of P.L.1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27)
• Submission of a certificate of employee information report approval or an affirmative action employee information report
• Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990

The city also has a resident employment policy, which requires contractors to make good faith efforts to hire Trenton residents.
